Ordering Guidelines

  • Online orders are available for pickup on the dates listed in the drop-down window. Takes the Cake is a licensed, inspected and insured home-based microbakery, so availability is limited and may fill up quickly.

    Pickup Options:

    • Standard Pickup: Fridays between 11 AM - 5 PM and Saturdays between 9 AM - 10:30 AM.

    • Christmas Pickup: Tuesday, December 23rd, 10 AM - 2PM

    • Weekday Porch Pickup (Contactless): Tuesday-Friday Dec 16-19

    Location:

    Takes the Cake is located in Salem, VA (about a mile from Sheetz on West Main). The pickup address will be provided in the confirmation email after purchase.
